Lilly Software Associates, Inc. and Netstream Solutions Inc. Form Strategic Alliance to build ERP / CAD Integration
Hampton, NH (USA), June 9, 2004—Lilly Software Associates, Inc., the developer of VISUAL Enterpriseä , and Netstream Solutions Inc., the Ontario-based developer of iCenter for Autodesk Inventor, have announced the formation of a strategic alliance to build an ERP Planning/CAD (computer-aided design) integrated solution. The new product will enhance overall productivity by providing solutions that will link engineering data to the rest of the enterprise. Lilly Software is committed to delivering solutions that streamline the engineering process and improve the accuracy of the bill of material as it is shared across the enterprise.
Leveraging our Customers’ Bill of Materials to Improve Overall Productivity.
Many customers today have recognized returns on implementing tools such as ERP and 3D CAD systems. While these individual systems have improved productivity in their respective departments, they have also contributed to creating burdensome islands of information within an organization. The result is often duplication and inconsistent manual data entry, which translates into wasted time and lost productivity. Lilly Software and Netstream Solutions are committed to improving this process by building bridges between these islands of data. iCenter for Autodesk Inventor will be leveraged to integrate engineering bill of materials with VISUAL Enterprise™. “We are pleased about our alliance with Netstream Solutions Inc.,” says David Bennett, Director, Product Management, Lilly Software Associates. “iCenter currently does an outstanding job of making certain that quality bill of material data is entered into Autodesk Inventor. With VISUAL® part data integrity on the engineering bill of material in the CAD file, this solution will ensure that quality data will be carried seamlessly back into VISUAL Enterprise to create the bill of manufacturing (bill of material and manufacturing routing), improving our customers’ overall productivity by eliminating the duplicate data entry and minimizing data entry errors.”
Lilly Software’s mission is to give manufacturers and distributors the power and control to manage their businesses for success. “With over 3500 customers and a solid reputation in the ERP industry, we are excited to have aligned ourselves with Lilly Software to develop an ERP gateway,” states Dwayne Nielsen, President of Netstream Solutions. “Netstream is committed to working closely with Lilly Software to develop solutions that help drive productivity improvements and improve overall business processes with our mutual customer base.”
